Champion Your Children

For those of you with children in your lives, this may be the most important message you’ve ever received.

It’s about the Certified Self-Esteem Coach for Children Program

I’ve a very important invitation.

Over the past 21 years, Dr. Joe Rubino has coached over a thousand people to elevate their self-esteem, become happier, more fulfilled, achieve better relationships and put into place every aspect of their dream lives. In fact, he has determined that there is no greater gift we can give to our children than high self-esteem! The problem was that he has a vision of impacting MILLIONS – not just thousands… so he soon came to realize that he could not realize his vision by going it alone – without YOUR partnership. So he found an affordable way to train parents, teachers, coaches and other adults to champion children to develop high self-esteem without the problems associated with excessive ego. Many leading experts have applauded his work as nothing short of life-changing.

If you are a parent, teacher, grandparent, coach, or adult who has anything to do with molding children’s lives, I believe strongly that the program I am about to share with you is THE most important body of knowledge you could possess to make a difference in the lives of children. Many are learning the principles Dr Joe teaches through my book, 31 Ways to Champion Children to Develop High Self-Esteem and the audios and videos that accompany the High Self Esteem Kids program, just to make a difference with their own kids.

Others are joining as Certified Coaches in Self-Esteem Elevation of Children so they can go out into the world and teach these principles to others – and EARN a great living in the process. We invite you to learn more about how you can join Dr. Joe’s team to make a difference in the lives of children everywhere and make your work ultra-rewarding and fulfilling as you help change lives.

For a limited time, Dr. Joe is offering the program at a huge 80% discount in order to make it affordable for anyone to take on.

If you are ready to learn the life-changing principles that are essential for children to grow up as well-rounded, happy, abundant, fulfilled and successful adults possessing high self-esteem, please take a few minutes to see what this program is all about.

I welcome you to join Dr. Joe Rubino’s team of people committed to making a difference in the world one child at a time!

Spray Tanning on the Go

Cheryl and I have been members of the same tanning salon for about five years now. Today, she and I met for coffee before out weekly tanning appointments. Cheryl mentioned she had heard about mobile spray tanning equipment.

We discussed how interesting it might be to own a mobile tanning salon. We could set up at various expositions and events.

We decided to table the discussion as time for our appointments was nearing.

A Trip to Town

Driving 100 Miles and Going Nowhere Fast

As I drove around town on my daily chores, I stopped at the red light in front a child care center. They have a large plate glass window and through it I noticed some new indoor playground equipment.A couple of children were playing on what appeared to be seats with steering wheels in front of them.

This started me to remember my sister going out to the car and sitting in the driver’s seat. She’d do that for what seemed like hours on end.

Eventually, one of us would go out and ask where she’s going and how far she got.

Her imagination was staggering.

That Darned Pink Car

On my way home from the dentist today, I saw that darned pink car again. It’s not the crazy paint job on the car that makes me think of the Beach Boys song “The Little Old Lady from Pasadena.”

Pink Car

Watch her go when she’s late for her hair appointment. She’s the terror of Norman, OK!

The Dentist’s New Decoration

I visited my dentist today and noticed he had a water fountains installed to help calm his customers. Visiting the dentist does not bother me. In fact, I rather like it. However, I know some people have such great fear of visiting the dentist.
I have a friend who needs to take a tranquilizer before going to the dentist. She always calls me when she needs to go. We usually go before lunch so we can visit Olive Garden for their soup and salad specials.

A Guitar Does Not A Musician Make

When I was a young teenager, my Dad bought me an electric guitar and an amplifier.

Sounds like a great gift, yes?

But you see, I never asked for a guitar. I was a piano player and Dad could play anything with strings. Apparently I didn’t inherit the string playing gene. I toyed with the guitar, was able to strum…. but since he couldn’t read music to teach me… (he plays by ear) all I was ever able to get out of the set was Taps. (Day is done, gone the sun, from the lake, from the hills, from the sky. All is well, safely rest, God is nigh…)

It languished in my room…..

I was never destined to play folk songs, or country ballads, or rock and roll. I never felt the strings become live under my fingertips, I never heard the Albion Amps Awesome tube sound blaring from my speakers.

A guitar does not a musician make.

Pink Swim Cap

Back in the sixties you’d sometimes see people at the pool wearing these swimcaps with flowers all over the head. I’ve noticed lately that they’re making a comeback!

But more often than not, most teens will opt for a sporty version instead, like this pink one.

I picked this one up at Walmart. They have their summer stuff out already!

89′r Day Parade

Spring sure comes up fast doesn’t she?

I went to town yesterday and saw a line of old Model T’s. I thought gee, the old car enthusiasts must be out.

I turned the corner and saw horses…. then I remembered that it was 89′r day and a parade was ensuing. There were lots of old time western looking clothing, horse drawn wagons, peddlers and music. Music seemingly on every corner.

There was a one man band jauntily playing all his musical instruments, some western style singers, several small bands, and even a aria or two.

Nothing like getting stuck in traffic behind the parade route! You get to see and hear all sorts of interesting things!

You just never know what you’ll see going on in a college town on the weekend!
